PVD sputtering is a coating process used to deposit a thin metal film (chromium, brass, copper, silver, gold) on the object to be coated. During the deposition process, a bond is created at the molecular level between the metal film and the substrate to provide a durable and resistant coating.
Available in a choice of multiple colors, the quality of the final product is complemented by the reduction of material waste-a sustainable and cost-effective result.
This kind of surface treatment allows the creation of the thinnest and most uniform coating ever, which is available in any choice of colours. This is a great way to ensure the quality of the finished product while also minimising waste. The result? A sustainable and cost-effective product.
For this small bottle, the client had requested a peculiar golden effect to be achieved using a precious metal. We therefore opted for a brass coating to be deposited via the sputtering method. This ensures that the decoration remains in place even throughout the subsequent stages of the silver foil transfer printing process.
For this project, the client had requested an opaque gloss finish for their bottle line with the aim of “reviving the brand and bringing it to the fore”. Taking the cue from the pre-existing opaque black serigraphy wrapped around the bottle’s circumference, we devised and created the most ravishing solution to obtain a highly recognizable packaging.
For this project, the client wanted to add more colour and liveliness to their line of perfumes yet using different metals. Thanks to our specialist expertise, we managed to use both brass and aluminium to create a type of coating with an innovative effect, which we then engraved with a matt décor.
We applied our expertise to create perfume bottles by adding a shiny finish in a variety of colours. For every project we devised robust and always recognizable bespoke coatings.
For this project, which involved creating a premium edition vinegar, we devised three different PVD decorations. Moreover, to inject more personality into the final product we created a total black serigraphy with a “negative” effect to cover the entire body of each bottle.
